كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، كان ولد صغيور سميتو ياسين عندو طبل صغير زوين وكيحب يضرب عليه. كان كيضرب فالدار: دوم طق... دوم طق! قالت ليه ماماه بلطف: الطبل زوين فالنهار ووقت اللعب، ولكن ملي يقرب الليل ويكون بابا عيان، خاصنا نحطو الطبل ونرتاحو. فهم ياسين وحط الطبل فبلاصتو، وجلس يقرا قصة زوينة بهدوء. فرحات بيه ماماه وعنقاتو، حيت تعلم وقتاش يلعب ووقتاش يخلي الهدوء والسكينة فالدار.
ودابا، جا الليل الزوين، والنجوم كيضويو فالسما. الطبل ساكت فالركنة، والدار دافية وهادية. يا وليدي الزوين، يا بنيتي الحبيبة، النعاس جا لعويناتك. خود نفس هادي... هكاك... غمض عينيك ومرتاح... وتصبح على خير، ونعاس هني وأحلام كلها فرحة وسلام.
