كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، كان جنان زوين عامر شجر الليمون، ريحته كتعطر المكان كولو. كانت بنت صغيرة سميتها سلمى كتسقي الشجرة كل عشية بماء العين البارد. كبرات الشجرة وعطات ليمونات كبار وصوفر بحال الذهب، حلوين وبنان بزاف. جمعات سلمى الليمون فقفيفة وعطاتو لماماها، وقسموه مع الجيران كاملين بالضحكة والنشاط. قالت سلمى للشجرة: شكرا ليك يا شجرتي الزوينة! والشجرة حركات وراقها مع الريح بحال إلا كتقول: العفو يا بنيتي الحبيبة.
ودابا، جا الليل الزوين، والنجوم كيضويو فالسما. الجنان هادي وريحة الورد فالهوا، والدار دافية. يا وليدي الزوين، يا بنيتي الحبيبة، النعاس جا لعويناتك. خود نفس هادي... هكاك... غمض عينيك ومرتاح... وتصبح على خير، ونعاس هني وأحلام كلها فرحة وسلام.
