كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، دقدق فالباب ضيف عزيز جا من طريق بعيدة. فرحات العائلة وجلسوه فالصالون فوق المخدات الدافية. وجدت لالة براد أتاي مشحر بالنعناع الأخضر والرزة، وريحتو كتعمر الدار. كبو الكيسان من الفوق: تشششش... والرغوة دايرة تاج زوين. شرب الضيف وحس بالراحة والمحبة وقال: تبارك الله عليكم، دار الكرم والجود. ضحكو كاملين وتبادلو الكلام الطيب، حيت الضيف كيجيب معاه الخير والبركة للدار.
ودابا، جا الليل الزوين، والنجوم كيضويو فالسما. البراد برد والكيسان تجمعو، والدار دافية وهادية. يا وليدي الزوين، يا بنيتي الحبيبة، النعاس جا لعويناتك. خود نفس هادي... هكاك... غمض عينيك ومرتاح... وتصبح على خير، ونعاس هني وأحلام كلها فرحة وسلام.
