كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، فليلة عرس زوينة عامرة زغاريت وأفراح. جلست البنت الصغيرة حدا خالتها تنقش ليها الحنة الخضرا على يديداتها. قالت ليها خالتها بحنان: جلسي هادية يا بنيتي وما تحركيش يديك حتى تنشف الحنة وتولي حمرا ومنورة. صبرات البنية وخلات يديها محلولين ومبتسمة وكتسمع الغنا الزوين. ملي نشفت وغسلات يديها، شافت نقشات بحال الورد وريحتها زوينة بزاف. فرحات وعرفات بلي الصبر كيخلي كل حاجة تطلع كاملة ومتقونة.
