كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، كانت دجاجة حمرا شاطرة لقات حبة قمح ذهبية زوينة فالجنان. سولات صحابها: شكون يعاوني نزرع هاد الحبة؟ قالو: حنا عيانين! زرعاتها بوحدها وسقاتها حتى ولات سنبلة كبيرة. سولاتهم: شكون يعاوني نطحنها ونعجن الخبز؟ قالو: حنا مشغولين! عجناتها وخبزاتها وخرجت خبزة سخونة كتشهي. جاو بغاو ياكلو، قالت ليهم: اللي كيتعب هو اللي كيدوق حلاوة النعمة! وقسمت معاهم باش يتعلمو يخدمو فرحانين.
ودابا، جا الليل الزوين، والنجوم كيضويو فالسما. الدجاجات ناعسين فالعش الدافي، والدار دافية. يا وليدي الزوين، يا بنيتي الحبيبة، النعاس جا لعويناتك. خود نفس هادي... هكاك... غمض عينيك ومرتاح... وتصبح على خير، ونعاس هني وأحلام كلها فرحة وسلام.
