كان يا ما كان فواحد الزمان، كانت مرا طيبة كتصاوب خبيزات سخان وبنان فالفران ديال الدار. دقدق فالباب راجل غريب مسافر وعيان، وقال: راني جيعان وعييت من الطريق. عطاتو المرا نص الخبزة سخونة مع كاس حليب بارد وتمرات حلوين. شرب الراجل وشبع وقال: تبارك الله، الله يعطيك الصحة ويبارك فدارك. غير خرج الضيف، لقات المرا قفتها عامرة طحين وتفاح، حيت اللي كيعطي من قلبو ديما ربي كيرزقو.
ودابا، جا الليل الزوين، والنجوم كيضويو فالسما. ريحة الخبز باقة فالدار دافية وهادية. يا وليدي الزوين، يا بنيتي الحبيبة، النعاس جا لعويناتك. خود نفس هادي... هكاك... غمض عينيك ومرتاح... وتصبح على خير، ونعاس هني وأحلام كلها فرحة وسلام.
